History
HDeXchange, Inc. was established as a non-profit organization in 2000 with the support of leading truck parts distributors, parts manufacturers, marketing groups and business system providers. The original concept of HDX was conceived by the E-Business Study Force of the Council of Fleet Specialists (CFS) and developed into an independent and self-sufficient organization.
Mission
HDeXchange (HDX) is a non-profit, open, e-commerce organization which develops and promotes standards, products and business practices necessary to achieve the implementation of electronic commerce.
Vision
HDX will:
- Interact with manufacturers, warehouse distributors, business system providers and other associations to ensure broad adoption of solutions.
- Clarify e-commerce technologies through education.
- Develop non-proprietary standard guidelines, allowing partners to integrate technologies into their work processes.
- Offer quality, affordable and innovative services to continue to enhance the supply chain.

Board of Directors
The Board of Directors, consisting of executive volunteers from parts distributors and manufacturers, provides the leadership, vision and direction needed to maximize the efforts of HDX. Click here for a list of the current HDX Board of Directors.
Technical Committee
HDX also has an active Technical Committee, consisting of technical volunteers from distributors, manufacturers, marketing groups and business systems providers. The Technical Committee identifies pressing issues and innovative technologies, then create and participate on Task Forces to develop solutions to the industry's needs.
